Nemophila blooms turned a Japanese park into a sky-blue “ocean”

In Hitachi Park, over 5 million nemophila flowers bloom over an area of 3.5 hectares. This riot of color and fragrance usually lasts through the last two weeks of April, transforming the landscape.

Nemophila is a member of the water milfoil family and is also native to the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
